MotionBlitz Compact XP

MotionBLITZ® Compact XP provides mobile high speed recording where restricted access or dangerous recording conditions prevents use of a MotionBLITZ® Cube system. Includes the option of recording hundreds of meters away from the camera.  

Modular Concept Portable Ruggedized Host Computer

The portable host computer contains the recording and frame memory interface for the remote MikroCam camera head. The case is made of a hard, yet flexible and lightweight alloy used in the aerospace industry. Robust PC components inside the versatile snap-in computer housing ensure reliability and performance. Comes with Windows XP. 

In order to offer the highest image quality possible even in the most restricted areas of a machine or other environments with difficult access, the MotionBLITZ® Compact XP comes with a compact camera head (MikroCam) In order to achieve this, image capture is separated from most other camera functions. 

Since the high speed image sequence is not stored inside the MikroCam, the resulting image data stream is sent via a high performance interface to the host unit and stored in a specific gigabyte image memory unit. After the high speed sequence has been recorded it is available for analysis, editing and export as single frames in .bmp format or as slow motion video in .avi format. All functions are performed in the software in exactly the same way as with the MotionBLITZ® Cube models.
