With the MotionBLITZ EoSens® Cube, Mikrotron has developed a CMOS camera with memory that combines high image speed, high image resolution and maximum use of available light to ensure excellent quality for high speed video recordings. The EoSens® technology is characterised by an extremely high photosensitivity (2500 ASA monochrome, 700 ASA RGB). With this new CMOS camera, the problem of lighting is no longer the critical factor – the time and effort spent on lighting are minimised. The picture quality of the EoSens® camera is also improved through a pixel-based FPN correction. FPN or “fixed pattern noise” could previously only be corrected column-by-column. The memory functions of the MotionBLITZ EoSens® Cube have also been further developed. The internal memory records up to 13 seconds at full speed and resolution. In Burst Trigger mode , it is possible to divide the memory into several thousand sequences in order to make optimum use of it. Burst Trigger mode thus offers a simplified method for systematically analysing processes: The Memory Standby mode allows the storage of images on the internal ring memory of the camera independent of an external power supply for up to 24 hours. Additional outstanding features of the MotionBLITZ EoSens® Cube are already familiar from the other Mikrotron high-speed cameras: Dynamic adapting for extreme bright/dark contrast, maximum performance with minimal dimensions, large selection of upgrade options.
