LI2CAM Intensified CCD camera

The LI²CAM is an ICCD -Intensified CCD camera for scientific and industrial applications which offers high sensitivity down to the single photon level, combined with speeds up to 15 fps at the full resolution of 1392 x 1040 pixels. The LI²CAM ICCD -intensified CCD camera is equipped with an image intensifier, fibre optically coupled to the CCD sensor. Depending on the application the LI²CAM ICCD -intensified CCD camera can be equipped with several types of image intensifier selected for spectral sensitivity, resolution, gain, linearity, gating, type of phosphor, etc.

  • LI2CAM large.jpg
  • Offers many useful features like variable integration times, partial scan mode (ROI), binning, fast gating down to 3ns and external triggering.
  • Uses an image intensifier (Gen2 or Gen3), fiber-optically coupled to the CCD sensor to achieve an unmatched performance at high speed and low-light-level operation
  • Can be equipped with several types of image intensifiers. Depending on the specific application an image intensifier can be selected for spectral sensitivity, resolution, gain, linearity, gating and other specific requirements
  • Is connected to the computer via USB2.0 and completely controlled by software that is supplied with the camera. The USB2.0 interface eliminates the need for a frame grabber. A detailed software development kit is available for integration with customer software
  • ProgrammableCCD and intensifier gain

The CCD camera used in the LI2CAM has the following specifications

  • 2/3” Interline CCD, 1392x1040 square pixels, 66dB dynamic range
  • Effective pixel size 10,3 microns (including magnification fibre optic taper)
  • A range of camera operating modes, including continuous (free running), Snapshot (triggered by either software or external TTL signal)
  • Maximum frame rate 15 fps
  • Programmable exposure time from 1 ms to 2 minutes (with gating the effective exposure time can be brought down to 40ns or 3ns)
