Fibre coupled laser diode bars

Quantel Laser Diodes (QLD) offers Fibre Coupled Package laser diodes with high optical power and brightness. These products are proposed with different core diameter fibres and a wide range of wavelength (from 800nm up to 980nm) that match with the most demanding requirements. One of the most compact packaging added to a low thermal resistance allows easy system integration. Quantel Laser Diodes products are widely operating in Industrial and Medical fields, either in direct use or for solid state laser and fibre laser pumping.

Quantel Compact Fibre coupled diode bars incorporate an ultra compact, leak-proof package, and employ high performance micro-optical components. The operating wavelength is in the 808nm window. Optical power, up to 40W CW, is delivered through a single multimode fibre terminated by a SMA connector. Small fibre diameter and low numerical aperture lead to high brightness and high optical power density. A low profile package (only 38cm3) is offered, with red pilot beam or PIN photodiode as options. The low thermal resistance of the assembly allows efficient heat transfer and thermal regulation.
