EN-Active Cooling, No Collimator 

 

The EN-type is a stack of bare diode laser bars on micro coolers. Each individual laser element delivers a nominal optical output power of 50 W CW or 120 W QCW. TwoBLD004-eserie_stacks.gif different bar-to-bar spacing values are available: 1.7 mm and 2.3 mm, larger ones upon request. Vertical stacks comprising of up to 66 laser elements are available. For stacks larger than 30 laser elements water is supplied from both ends.

  EY - Active Cooling, Fast (Y) Axis Collimator

 

The EY-type has a cylindrical fast axis collimating lens positioned in front of the emitting area. Precise laser element alignment gives total beam divergence for a stack that is typically less than 8 mrad (FWHM). The nominal bar-to-bar spacing is 1.9 mm. Larger vertically spacing can be delivered upon request. The standard design includes a dust protective or a hermetically sealed housing with an AR-coated window. Several different models are available, with custom solutions upon request.
