QD-Qxyzz-B are conductively cooled laser diode stacked arrays. This product is based on highly efficient 1cm linear bar arrays (60W QCW to 200W) that are piled up to form a stack operating in Quasi-CW mode. Standard pitch between diode bars is 400µm (up to 10 bars) or 500µm (up to 8 bars). For higher duty cycle the pitch can be customized up to 1.2mm with a reduced number of diode bars (up to 3 bars). Packaging and heat exchanger have been optimized to reduce the overall thermal resistance. QD-Qxyzz-B stacks are ideal for a range of severe environmental applications, including military systems involving pumping solid state lasers utilizing rods or slabs, and laser illuminators..
