The 1 µm broadband source uses a proprietary Multiwave Photonics design that allows customization of product characteristics to meet specific requirements imposed by the Customer’s application.

 

Product characteristics such as (1) output power, (2) centre wavelength, (3) spectral profile flattening and other important parameters may be customized and optimized by Multiwave Photonics for particular requirements of significance to the customer.

 

For example, Multiwave have worked closely with leading researchers in the field of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to optimize the source characteristics for their specific requirements. This product line continues to be actively developed, and swept wavelength versions are to be released in the near future.
