Based on photorefractive two-wave mixing, TEMPO is an easy to use "point and shoot" system which works at optimum performances even with a multi-speckle beam.
TEMPO has applications in the R&D laboratory for materials research and wave propagation studies. Coupled with a scanner, TEMPO can be easily configured for full-field analysis.

TEMPO's large aperture collects much more optical power from diffusing surfaces than any conventional interferometer, directly translating to greater sensitivity and higher signal-to-noise ratio. TEMPO operates with an internal CW doubled Nd:YAG laser, at 532 nm (green). The laser power is adapted to the the user's application and needs. TEMPO output delivers a time signal proportional to the surface displacement of the sample
